Ami Saraiya

Ami Saraiya is a long-standing member of the Chicago music scene, known for her surreal, genre-blending songwriting that incorporates chamber pop, blues, and gritty soul. Over the years, she has been part of a variety of projects, including the folk-blues band Backward Black, the soul and R&B group Pelvic Delta, and the eclectic pop ensemble Radiant Darling.

Later, as the front woman of Ami Saraiya and The Outcome, she toured extensively and released two well-received albums, Archaeologist and Soundproof Box. Now, Ami performs both as a solo artist and in a new duo with cabaret performer and former Outcome bandmate Shirley Rogiers. A multi-instrumentalist who plays guitar, accordion, and piano, Ami continues to captivate audiences with her bold evocative artistry.
