Bubba Holly
Bubba Holly is a musician, writer, composer and performer living in central Minnesota, where he is the owner of St. Cloud’s Gnarly Bard Theater and the creative director of the Gnarly Bard Theater Company.
Bubba has been making music with his friends since childhood, beginning with a ska band called Fred Savage and the Unbeatables in high school. He has since played and released music as part of Chief O’Brien, Bubba Holly & the Stargazers, Bunkin’ Cousins, Buck & Tammy Sue, the Big Ideas, the Time Lords, the Homemakers and more. ‘These days, he spends most of his time at the theater keeping things up and running. He is a prolific writer of original musicals, including “The Last Day of Pompeii,” “The Naughty List,” and several others, and he continues to be the bandleader of Fred Savage and the Unbeatables, which has evolved into Minnesota’s favorite wedding and party band.
