Jesse Etsler

Jesse Etsler is a multi-hyphenate storyteller from Indiana. He typically works on his fiction and scripts, performs in an improv troupe, cuddles his girlfriend, and occasionally performs stand-up comedy. More cinema and written work is on the way. But music is a means to keep in touch with the Depth of it all.

He is sensitive to the shapes inside sound. Apparently he’d cry as a child when his mother failed to tune his violin properly. He doesn’t really know how to play any instrument, but sometimes his hands get things right.

”I looked out and there were spheres everywhere. Of all sizes. Moving at different speeds. All standing still. Pulsing. Their movement made time. They were singing. Like rocks under the river pressing its current into shape. Giving it the texture of personality. I sure hope art can take people there, where the spheres sing. I’d like to make horologists of us all, so no one ever has to feel out of sync again.” - JAE
