Louie Opatz is the lead singer-songwriter of the band Happy Lion, and a regular member of the bands Bunkin’ Cousins and Pink Patio. A founding member of Minnesota ska legends Fred Savage and the Unbeatables and of a charmingly shambolic Portland band called the Big Ideas, Opatz is also an accomplished writer and baseball player.

“Buds,” the debut album from Happy Lion, is available everywhere, including Spotify, Apple Music and directly from Louie himself.
