Jan. 6, 2019: "Invocation," by Stacy Rene Erenberg
This is the Rise Up Music Project for January 6th, 2019. I'm Stacy Rene Erenberg, and my song for today is called 'Invocation.”
It came to me while sitting at my ancestor altar asking for some guidance. They gifted me with this arrangement and these words: “May you see feel some peace, May you feel your power, May you drink the water from the earth sweet well.”
My call this year is to sing each week from my heart, as a meditation in accepting and listening to where I am emotionally, physically and spiritually and how it affects my voice. What stories need to be told and come thru me, what lessons will I learn in being vulnerable, honest and sharing my voice, my soul in all its imperfections to the world?
