The truth, though proofless, moves this mess of a crude vessel set through waves of calm and strife in strange and common life. Ways to stray, they fray the fabric of the floor below, bellowing hellos even louder than before, shouting through the door, deploring that we pour our attention (hearing, vision, and intention). Distraction detracts from the mission of invention. The frail frays, afraid to phrase or frame their reason for detention, never seem to mention the existence or location of a bucket of water and a mop. Persistent self-persuasion: fucking bother to stop studying the grime in the grooves of the grain. Improve on the brain; there’s courage to claim there.
